03/24/2010: Cultus Lake Waterpark is in the midst of a rapid expansion program

Cultus Lake Waterpark is in the midst of a rapid expansion program. All of the attractions chosen and designed for the Cultus Lake Waterpark expansion have been selected because of their rider enjoyment and high volume capacities. This will reduce lineup wait times and add to the variety of attractions that we offer.

In 2007, we expanded our grounds and added more shade structures for our groups and families to enjoy. In addition, beautiful walkways and garden planters were constructed.

For 2008, we were proud to unveil the Colossal Canyon, a family raft ride that is like no other. A brand new amenity building was also built on the west side of the park hosting washroom facilities complete with change rooms and showers. Also located in this building are family rooms, which are wheelchair friendly. At the end of the building is a new food service outlet, Pier 84 fish n' chips, adding yet another variety of food to our park. New walkways, planters, and shade structures were also added, which aid in the resort feeling you get when you visit our park.

In 2009, we added two state-of-the-art attractions, Pirates’ Cove Adventure Playground and the Zero – 60 Raceway. Pirates’ Cove is an interactive, fun-filled pirate themed playground perfect for kids and the Zero – 60 Raceway is an awesome face-first mat racing slide perfect for the competitive thrill-seeker. Our expanded parking lot was paved and graced with planters and trees to incorporate it into the beautiful surroundings. We also expanded on our in-park walkways, planters and shade structures.

2010 brings us a state-of-the-art streamlined admission process providing you a quicker and easier entrance. The addition of a plaza area in front of our main building creates an open welcoming feeling to the park as well as a great meeting area for your group. Our food service area has been expanded to offer you a wider variety of food as well as many healthier choices.

With all of these additions, we are happy to say that we are not done yet and we will keep you posted for what is still to come.
